The women of First Presbyterian Church have many activities to take part in. One of those activities is joining a ladies circle to share in good fellowship, conversation, and prayers. Sarah Circle is open to all women of the church.
Sarah Circle
Sarah Circle is open to all women of the church. Currently the group includes 8 to 15 members and meet the second Tuesday of the month from 12:30 to 3:00 pm at the church.
This past year Sarah Circle studied the Book of Revelations and plans are to study the Beatitudes beginning in September of 2011. They will conclude in May of 2012 with a potluck. In the past the circle has collected for Thanksgiving food baskets and given Christmas gifts as part of a mission project.
Once again this is an excellent way to make long-lasting friends, have good fellowship, and enjoy some of what First Presbyterian Church has to offer.
Elizabeth Circle
Elizabeth Circle was organized in 1978 as a part of Presbyterian Women. At present there are eight active members with new members always welcome.
Elizabeth Circle meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 1:00 pm in members’ homes or at the church. Following dessert, time is spent in devotions, study and fellowship. Leadership is shared.
