Worship at First Presbyterian Church begins at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday. Our services include music, prayer, scripture readings and preaching, along with a time for children, providing a meaningful worship experience for all. FPC also offers services on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Eve, as well as Christmas Eve.
Childcare is provided for all worship services.
Communion is served once a month, generally the first Sunday of the month, as well as during special services.
Coffee hour, provided by our Deacons, is held following the worship service in the Chapel.
Ministry of Music
From praise teams and seasonal mass choirs, to youth choirs and special instrumental music, our Director of Music, Brenda Jeisy, has great impact on our worship at First Presbyterian.
With input and assistance from our Worship and Music Council, Brenda leads our church’s worship music to reflect the varied styles of expression that are meaningful to our members while maintaining traditions. The combination of ensembles and special music help to create a dynamic, meaningful worship experience while allowing many opportunities for members to participate.
Featured groups include praise teams, instrumentalists, men’s and women’s choirs, youth and inter-generational choirs, as well as adult and youth hand bell choirs.
